6.13. The Room with No Horizon

(Location: Celestial Dome Interior Layer 2)

Description:
Celestial Dome 2 contains a simulation chamber used to test parallax errors and falsified star motion. It has no horizon—only curvature. Stars drift randomly across its black walls, refusing alignment. The system inside is labeled *Eidolon Projector.* Juna notes a data glitch: the same constellation appears three times in opposite quadrants. “No sky obeys this,” Judai mutters. They find a floor panel with switches labeled *Disorientation Phases 1–7.* Each press shuffles the sky more chaotically. A clipboard states: *This chamber replicates skies over nations that do not exist.* At the center of the room is a telescope that spins slowly, regardless of input. Juna stares into the glass and sees a sun rise inside the night. “Here, day is not required.”

Keywords:
##false heavens
##eidolon starfield
##horizonless simulation
##phantom constellations
##spatial misalignment

Very Short Story:
Juna activated Disorientation Phase 5. The ceiling dissolved into rapid motion, constellations melting across each other. Judai closed his eyes but still saw stars behind his eyelids. “This is where they invented confusion,” he said. The telescope spun faster, finally locking onto nothing. “Do these skies mean something to someone?” Juna asked. “To no one,” Judai replied. “That’s why they were preserved.” The lights dimmed. One last star blinked out.
