Location: Naraha Temporary Government Annex
Description:
Naraha’s temporary government annex was built in haste and disappeared with care. Judai and Juna arrive to find only its negative space—paper outlines on grass, electrical ghosts where walls once stood. Documents were never archived here; they were whispered, transcribed onto breath, then vanished. A low hill reveals the footprint of filing cabinets, though nothing remains. Juna finds a scorched folder labeled “POST-REALITY EVENTS (DRAFT).” Inside: nothing but ash. The wind respects the perimeter and avoids the site. Judai kneels and draws a diagram of the erased building in his notebook, only for the ink to run dry halfway through. A loudspeaker crackles nearby, not with voice, but with inhalation. Naraha does not record anymore. It releases.

Very Short Story:
They walked the building’s outline, placing their feet where blueprints once lived. Judai held the empty folder, wondering what had been too dangerous to keep. Juna inhaled near the speaker and heard nothing—but felt something enter her lungs, like syntax without sound. “They stored decisions in air,” she said. Judai lit a candle where the conference room had stood. The flame bent inward. “What they erased, they believed,” he replied. A child’s drawing blew past—a house, a sun, a signature labeled “ME.” They let it go. The air thickened. For a moment, Juna saw rows of desks shimmer into view, then disappear again. She exhaled slowly, as if returning a classified message. They did not speak again that day.
