13.26. ** ***The School Built to Forget
Location: Phobos-Kyoto Civic Educational Complex, Level B
Description:
It looks like a normal school, except every room has a placard reading *Memory Limit Enforced.* The walls have speaker ports—silent. Each chalkboard has erasers, but no chalk. In the library, every book is blank. “This isn’t a school,” Judai says. “It’s a memory filter.” Students were trained here not to learn, but to unlearn. Juna finds a sealed cabinet marked *Graduation Ceremony: DO NOT OPEN UNTIL ERASED.* Inside: empty folders, all labeled with forgotten names. The building is quiet, but full. Of what, they cannot say. At the center, a courtyard with statues of faceless children—each one slightly bowed, as if accepting instruction to disappear.

Very Short Story:
They walked the hallways in silence, as if speaking might erase something. Juna opened a locker—it contained only a single word: *Goodbye.* Judai opened another. It was warm. “Someone just left this,” he said. In the faculty lounge, a schedule: *Forget Lunch, Forget Exit, Forget Self.* The clock had no hands. They stood beneath the flag in the courtyard. It bore a symbol they didn’t recognize—yet felt they once knew. “They succeeded,” Juna said. “But the building remembers what they forgot.” It always will.
