2.16. The Wrong Juna

(Location: Mirror Testing Vault, Manchu Edison Performance Hall)

Description:
The vault is lined with mirrors — not reflecting the present, but showing slightly different versions of whoever enters. When Judai steps in, nothing changes. But when Juna does, her reflection smiles before she does, tilts her head differently, holds a different book. “That’s not me,” she says. But the reflection begins to move independently. She flips through pages of an unwritten script. Judai watches, unable to document it — his notebook ink runs sideways. The vault hums faintly with a soundtrack no one recalls recording. Other mirrors begin to show other Junas — some older, some injured, some dressed for funerals. One mirror is cracked; its Juna bleeds light. “I think she narrated something she wasn’t supposed to,” Judai says quietly. “And became part of it.”

Keywords:
##reflected divergence
##misaligned identity
##mirror timeline breach
##unauthorized narration
##vault of versions

Very Short Story:
She touched the glass. The wrong Juna touched it back. But with her left hand. “It’s not reversed,” Juna whispered. “It’s rewritten.” In one mirror, she saw herself leaving. In another, she was reading this exact scene. Judai stepped back. “Which one’s coming with us?” The mirrored Juna blinked — once, twice — and then vanished. The real Juna felt her book grow heavier.
