From here, the strange symmetry of the day becomes visible---morning light and evening light are nearly identical, just rotated. The buildings below flicker with lives, but some seem stuck mid-animation. Judai senses they’re watching a city remember itself. The wind carries scents---of sakura, old gunpowder, and projector oil. This balcony, they realize, is where the day began but tilted in time. The sun does not rise or set here---it hovers. The couple records their impressions, and the audio plays backward in their headphones. This is the last moment before Day 20, and yet it feels like the first moment of a much older reel. \\
